Evangeline Thorne is privileged.
Beautiful and popular, if not a little jaded.
A chance encounter with a green-eyed stuntman sets off a chain of events that turns her perfect, little world upside down.
Short on options and desperate for adventure, she joins the traveling carnival for the summer.
Thrust into a world full of drama, deception, and secrecy, Evangeline tries to find herself and protect her heart in the process.

Sebastian McAllister is cursed.
He knows better than to think otherwise.
He’s content to live out the rest of his life traveling the country as one of the four Sons of Eastlake, seeking thrills the only way he knows how.
The one thing he doesn’t see coming is the spoiled blond with stars in her eyes.
The only problem is, the more time he spends with her, the more hope starts to stir in his dormant heart.

Too bad hope is a dangerous thing when you’re a McAllister.

Good Lord, you just never should doubt Charleigh Rose! If she writes it, it’ll be pure gold! Just like I always do with a handful of authors, I went into Rewrite the Stars not knowing a dang thing! This book has it all and then some!! The circus/carnival plot is just the funest concept ever! Ms. Rose brought the theatrics, the fun and color, the vibrancy of a summer carnival. Add in young love and this is just a lovely disaster waiting to happen!

Nobody can quite create these young alpha males that grow to be even more delicious, even more alpha, the Charleigh Rose. Sebastian is arrogant the way only a young teenage boy with a chip on his shoulder can be. Evangeline is totally captivated by him. This poor little rich girl has never seen anything like Sebastian and she’s all in and changes everyone’s like in the snap of fingers. I loved the adventure and the allure behind the carnival. It was so intriguing.

Evangeline and Sebastian were so sexy... their heat and sexual tension was palpable. It vibrated with intensity and I couldn’t get enough of them. So much so that it was the same, year after year. Nothing fades or diminishes between them... it grows brighter and thicker. Charleigh Rose has to be some type of magician, this has to be why I get pulled in so deep, so fast, so damn hard. I loved this book. The story was plain delightful when it wasn’t full of angst and drama that only teenagers/young adults can produce. Rose is so very creative... I mean who would have thought there was such a story out there for carnies? Utterly fantastic though... the plot, the storyline, the amazing characters, the family and friendships. It tackled so many items and checked every single box I have for new or young adult stories! I can’t recommend this book more!

I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.
