I can’t even believe we are at the last book in the Soul
Serenade series… Cassidy and Gavin’s story. I adore how these guys all party
hard until they meet The One. Gavin has been watching his friends fall in love
and ride off figuratively into the sunset. He can’t help but feel for Cassidy
and he wants what they have. Cassidy on the other hand has worked hard to get
where she is and she’s fought so hard to get there so she’s not really feeling
the attraction to Gavin… or that’s what she keeps telling herself anyway.
I really enjoy the way Gavin slowly inches his way into
Cassidy’s life but moreso into her heart. I feel like I’ve really gotten to
know them over the last few books and they way Gavin’s friends help him all
along the way. Anyway, the story is sweet and seriously swoonable! Kaylee Ryan’s
writing is like a nice cold ice cream on a hot summer day… it’s just a nice and
refreshing and makes your heart happy! Her story flows so smoothly.
