Sport romances aren’t typically my thing… however; Ms.
Kaylee Ryan’s swoonable characters are my thing! She always creates the best
male characters that I’ll continue to follow her work. I think what I just
really love is the solid family foundation here… the friends and family. The
tight group of people that try and lift each other up in life, not down. It’s
refreshing to me. I really could not get enough of Easton. I love when a man
knows what he wants and goes for it and that’s just what he did. I also kind of
have a thing for insta-love… I mean, who doesn’t want to be swept off their
feet?
Ha! Of course, Easton finds the one lady that doesn’t want
to be swept up into his charm… Larissa. He’s up for the challenge though and
pursues her with a vengeance that I totally fell for! He was a sweet guy!
Seriously, he was kind and didn’t mind putting his feelings and heart out
there! Once Easton and Paisley hit if off…
I was done for. My heart could NOT take this love! I was a pile on the
floor! This was seriously one of the most amazing and sweetest single parent
stories I have read… and I’ve been ALL over them lately… it’s been my thing
lately!
So this was good and I love the way Kaylee Ryan tells a
story. It’s written in such a way that you can tell Ms. Ryan’s heart and soul
is in the story. I think my main issue was I wanted a bit more angst… a bit
more of conflict. I like the sweetness, please don’t get me wrong but I wanted
a bit more pushback… just something more.
