Man do I love me a good mob
story. Maya Hughes wrote a pretty good one with Under His Ink. We have us a mob
boss in training, although, Ivan isn’t particularly interesting in becoming the
boss. Ten years previously he messed up with Dahlia. Now, seeing her again, he
feels it’s his second chance. But, nothing is easy when you’re to become the
boss. Everything and everyone is in your way. Plus Dahlia is no push over. Is
it worth it? Can they overcome the past that has hurt them for the past decade?
This was my second Maya Hughes
story. The first was ok but I enjoyed this one a ton more. The characters were
likeable. The storyline was fast-paced and tense in places. Plus, I mean, it’s
a Russian mafia story and I love the mob or bratva! There’s a lot happening in
this story. A lot most angst than I saw coming. Dahlia has a bit to get over.
