Names on a list.
Faces in a crowd.
One little girl.

They told me to get over it.
I can't do that.
I want them to pay.

Every.
Last.
One.

I’m a huge fan of the writing of Tia Louise, I’ll get that right out in the open. Louise writes some of the most fanatic romances with broken souled characters, a high action level, and it oozes suspense. I’ve been waiting on Molly’s story as soon I was finished with the Bright Lights series. Louise couldn’t write fast enough for me.

Molly had her own path to take and even though her demons were the same as Lara’s, Molly was younger and these demons broke her at such a tender age. Lara tried so hard to protect Molly and felt as if she failed Molly. This tale was heartbreaking and I felt for Molly. The cover is a perfect portrayal for Molly. The woman seems so conflicted.

I fell for Josh as soon as I met him in the second book of Lara’s story. He’s adorably sweet and he was immediately smitten with Molly pretty much instantaneous. I know a lot of readers didn’t like Molly but I got her. I understood her animosity and her need for vengeance. Yes, at the end of the the previous book and even in this one, I really disliked her behavior any time she spoke or met up with people from her past. She seemed to revert right back to this really aloof and mean and spiteful person. But with Josh, she was a different person. She was lighter. Josh was fantastic for her. They seemed to bring out the best of each other, isn’t that what a relationship is really about?

I wasn’t surprised that I flew through this story. Louise has such a smooth and fluid writing that I’m always entranced into her stories. The plot was seriously intriguing and the pace was perfect. I felt myself rushing through the pages to see what was next. I wouldn’t mind reading a story about some of these secondary characters.

I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.
