I feel like I’ve been waiting for the Marx Girl by TL Swan for a super long time! It is interconnected to the Dr. Stanton series. Ben is the bodyguard for Bridget’s brother in law. They are crazy attracted to each other. But Ben, the crazy guy that he is, thinks he isn’t good enough for Bridget so he leaves, for 5 years.
Five years doesn’t lessen their burning attraction. If anything it seems to have just made their interest in each other stronger. TL Swan writes an amazing story. She doesn’t just write a romance. Marx Girl is ripped with suspense and even some humor. I enjoyed the book but there was a time where it seemed so deep and so full of things going on. However, while I was being hit left and right with stuff happening, I was crying my little heart out. This book will break the heart a bit… so prepare yourself! Keep the Kleenex handy!
