RELEASE BLITZ: Hey, Whiskey by Kaylee Ryan

Title: Hey, Whiskey
Author: Kaylee Ryan
Genre: New Adult

Release Date: January 9, 2018

Blurb

I’m over this year, and I’m over relationships.  I’ve learned that the only person you can count on in life is yourself.  Moving forward, I’m living for me.  Working toward standing on my own two feet, that’s my goal.  Funny how meeting him changed my path.

It’s been years since I’ve been back in this small town of West Virginia for more than a day or two.  Spending time here brings back a lot of fond memories.  When I stopped by an old friend’s bar, I was expecting to grab a drink and catch up.  What I didn’t expect was her.

We share an undeniable attraction, but we continue to fight it.

Until one night in Vegas changes everything.

Holly Molly!!! Kaylee Ryan wrote an amazing story! Saylor is so darn relatable and such a likable character. I felt completely for Say. I feel like her life started once the situation with Pete was brought out. Sometimes what looks like this horrible life changing event turns out to be just what we need to truly start our life. Pete did her a solid!!

Now, Rhett, is the swooniest of guys!! I don’t know where Ryan gets her male material, but hot dog man, these guys prove that chivalry is alive and well. Rhett had a heart so full of love for Say. He put everything out there and was so honest. I think one of my favorite things about this book is the honesty between the main characters. They are so strait up, there’s no secrets, I just love that! Honesty is incredibly important and Ryan made Hey, Whiskey feel like it could be a true story!!

Keep these magical-swoonicorn men coming Ryan! Needless to say after my scattered banter, Ryan’s stories always seem to pull me in. I, personally, felt so close to this story since I have always felt alone. I have a large family but have always felt like an after-thought. Ryan has a real gift for creating characters that I want to befriend. She pulls me into the storyline without any problems and keeps the book paced perfectly to keep me staying up late and sneaking words in at work.

I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I will leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.
