First… how amazing is that cover? Who knew that day old look could be so handsome? This is an amazing cover and a great use of colors and filters! Kudos to the designer here! It’s gorgeous and really, THIS, this cover is what made me want to read this book to begin with. I think we’re all lucky that the words inside matched beautifully with the cover.

A.L. Jackson started her new series off with a bang! This book is so emotional, so intense. Ugh… the romance in this book is amazing. This book is exactly why people read romance! It’s so gorgeously written and the feelings just burst off this page! I love the idea of a woman finding herself again and the single father that is so completely closed off. It’s a breath-taking story of moving on and healing… completely hopeful book!

I feel like I could talk forever on this book but then I’d risk spoilers and I don’t want to do that to you all! Everyone deserves to read this book for a first time, spoiler free. The secondary characters are amazing! I seriously would love more on all of them… I’ve never been happier to see this is a series made up of standalone books. Frankie Leigh was the most adorable thing ever! I can’t wait for more! If you like complex books filled with tension, emotions, a side of humor, and such a beautiful story of hopeful love.
