RELEASE DAY: Hot Georgia Rein by Martha Sweeney

 HOT GEORGIA REIN
By MARTHA SWEENEY IS LIVE
 Genre: Romance, HEA, Standalone

First loves don't last, not like you think they will when you're in the beginning or middle of them. First loves are fun and painful, giving you the beauty and darkness of life in a single relationship, breaking your fantasies like a twig and making you realize that life is not all sunshine, sparkling fireflies, and rainbows. No, it's not pretty at all. First loves build you up, and just when you think that life can't get any better, they shatter into a million raindrops, making you see how life really works. First loves crush you, ruining you for anyone else.

That's what Ivy Lynn Abney and Henry Lee Rein have battled with since things ended between them about three years ago. Neither of them have spoken and are still hung up on what occurred. They both have regrets and the love they once had for each other never really went away. They were young and wanted different things. Have their wants changed enough to allow their love to reignite? Can first loves become second loves even with secrets?

This is a steamy, standalone, contemporary romance novel written in dual POV by Martha Sweeney who is an Amazon Best-Selling author.

I was so excited when I saw this book, Hot Georgia Rein by Martha Sweeney, on my Kindle. Sweeney is an author that I always get a bit giddy for! She tells such great stories… her characters are so incredibly relatable and likable. She can make up complete new worlds, and she has with Knight Takes Pawn, and they are utterly fantastic!! I’ve read every single book of hers and get so excited now when I know there’s a new one coming… although, I can tell you that I am waiting as impatiently as I can, for The Killmores… dying here!!! Anyway… back to Hot Georgia Rein…

Hot Georgia Rein is a second chance standalone that is as sweet as it is southern. Ivy is the normal southern belle with hospitality, kindness, and grace but also having that strength and bit of rebellion that the south is known for. Henry is an amazing male lead! Henry is as hot as the southern asphalt! He also has that good ol’ boy image that weakens your heart and wets your painties! Oh man… all the characters are just amazing! Grady and his over-protectiveness just makes my heart sing! Then, there’s Ivy’s  parents… they are just picture perfect southern parents!!

Sweeney writes a story that will suck you in and make it nearly impossible to set down! Sweeney continues to hit us with humor and sweetness. I love me a good second chance story and this one is oozing with the possibilities of new beginnings. Sweeney played this book perfectly… I had no idea how Ivy and Henry could even work.. it seemed impossible. I ripped through this hot, fast-paced story with likable and relatable characters!

I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.
