RC Boldt is the wife of Mr. Boldt, a retired Navy Chief, mother of Little Miss Boldt, and former teacher of many students. She currently lives on the southeastern coast of North Carolina, enjoys long walks on the beach, running, reading, people watching, and singing karaoke. If you're in the mood for some killer homemade mojitos, can't recall the lyrics to a particular 80's song, or just need to hang around a nonconformist who will do almost anything for a laugh, she's your girl.

I stumbled upon RC Boldt’s books with Clam Jam and seriously fell hard for her writing, her fun banter, and witty and hysterical characters! Blue Balls was no different for me! I mean, look at those gorgeous one-of-a-kind covers she has… they pull you in before you can even think about a synopsis. But once you pop open her books, you will fall in love with her good-natured humor. Blue Balls is a book I just can’t even describe adequately. She’s so over-the-top funny and off the charts with her quirky characters. You just need to expect the unexpected!! She’ll have you laughing all through her books and all of a sudden you’ll notice it’s over! That is a talent, if you ask me!

We meet Jack and Sarah in Clam Jam as supporting characters. The banter and fun between these two is completely off the charts hilarious! Add in Sarah and her inner monologue… it’s just RomCom perfection!! The events that Sarah and Jack go through seems totally possible which makes them extremely relatable! While they might not have luck getting between the sheets they had so much fun together. Their relationship reminds me a bit of mine with my husband. You just have fun with them plus this wonderful sexual tension! I love how they laugh at all the crap that happens… it’s either that or they’d cry!

RC Boldt has earned a follower for life with this book! She is exactly who I will search out when I need a good, light-hearted read that makes me snort out-loud and walk around with a silly smile on my face. I loved every word of this quick read! I can’t wait for Boldt to give me more of these hilarious books! Blue Balls was written so perfectly… you won’t even realize it’s over until it is! It is that engaging!
