Dominic: Cerberus MC Series by Marie James

Cover Design: Essen~tail Designs
Release Date: May 11, 2017

Synopsis

Dominic Anderson knows exactly what he wants in life: simplicity, safety, and solidarity with his brothers. He’s vowed to spend each day living his life exactly how he chooses since the day his wife betrayed him and his four-year military career turned into twenty.

Returning home after retirement from the Marines, he’s traded the sand in the Middle East for that of the New Mexico desert, Humvees for a motorcycle, and the comradery of men in uniform for the occasional woman at his feet.

Life was perfect until Makayla “Poison” Evans, Renegade MC Princess, knocked on his door, bruises on her face, neck, and arms, and no money to pay the cab driver. Pink hair, perfect body, and a mouth that Dom yearned to teach a million lessons, Mak asks more from him than he’s conceded to a woman in decades.

She needs his help, his protection, and against his better judgment, she expects him to keep her secrets. Only her secrets are deadly, dangerous, and have the potential to start a war between two MCs.

At what point does safeguarding a woman become a betrayal to the men Dominic calls his family? More importantly, can he get back the sanctity of his home once Makayla is no longer in the picture, or will he be forever tainted by her poison?

Yay!!! Finally we have Dominic’s story… and it’s a GOOD one! Marie James is the writer that made me fall for Motorcycle Club books. The Cerberus MC series are books that I one click without reading a single word about the books. I tell ya, I feel like I have been waiting for Dominic’s book for years! It’s here! It’s finally here!!! And it was AMAZING! It was worth the wait!!

First, this is the 4th book in the series. I would definitely recommend reading the other books… Kincaid (Dom’s younger brother), Shadow, and Kid. So I’m not going to recap all the previous books but I’ll say that if you like MC books, than this is a MUST read. The Cerberus MC series is one of the BEST MC series that I have EVER read… EVER, yes, EVER! This is a series; I would not recommend skipping around. Go in order and enjoy every minute of these fellas!

My favorite things about this book… hell ALL these books, is how these guys treat their women. They treat women as people to be cherished and protected. Yeah, they are all total alphas but they are seriously endearing! Nothing about Dominic is too much! He is just… well… he’s a PERFECT guy! I even learned some sexual things in this book… not my cup of tea personally but I LOVE a book that will teach me something new! Every time I read a Cerberus MC book I think…. Oh, so and so is totally my favorite alpha biker here… until the next one that is! I seriously loved reading about the mysterious Dom though!

Marie James tells a perfect story! Her writing is perfection and flows so smoothly. I’ve found over this last year that James is an automatic one click author! Her stories pull you in and don’t let you go until the very last page… the very last word! I can’t wait for more… there was a snippet of the next book and man, oh man, I’m over here tapping my foot waiting for it! I’m feeling a little itchy to snatch it right up! Hahaha :)

I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I will leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.
