I love Celia Aarons words and look forward to every single one of her
releases! I knew Dark Protector would be no different! This book was fantastic!
Conrad was the king of alphas! Never have I seen a person go to bat for another
without ever actually speaking to them. It just goes to show you that sometimes
we just know!!
I love the places Aarons has been going with her writing… this romantic
suspense is seriously working for her!! I like erotica just like everyone else
but romantic suspense is my all time favorite! She pulls this off excellently!
The secondary characters… that didn’t die… were fabulous! I loved Nate and his
naughty mouth! He was just full of wicked banter! He was so fun and a definite addition
to this book. Nate added so much… I really hope we get a book on him now! He
totally deserves some wickedly-delicious, foul-mouthed chick!
Charlie is a character that will surprise you!! You might start our
thinking Charlie is weak and innocent but the more you read… the more she’ll
surprise you. She doesn’t just turn the other check and take it. She will fight
back, tooth and nail.
This book was just what I have
come to expect from Celia Aarons… something fast-paced, full of action, sex, gritty
and hard! The full “don’t breath near me” full on alpha male was one you couldn’t
help but feel for!! He was a total victim of circumstance. I LOVE that he wasn’t
make to be this so Godly looking guy… that he had scars and was no perfect. I’m
gonna plead with Aarons now for a book about NATE! I mean, he’s in a PERFECT
spot for a book about him. He’s so humorous that we need the woman that’s gonna
tie him down!
