Compact Folding Umbrella

I have never seen an umbrella like this one. This one opens at the touch of a button - but the same button also closes it with the same spring loaded mechanism! Most umbrellas require you to manually close them. While the button is easy to depress, it's out of the way and not so easily pushed that it will collapse on you unexpectedly. You do still have to push it down to fully retract the pole. It's a little stiff to fold it in, so I subtracted a star for that. I'm hoping that loosens up over time.

The umbrella is light-weight and comes with a carrying case. It's aesthetically appealing design includes a soft leather handle and wrist strap. It's well-made. It's compact enough that it fits in the glove box of our van. When it's opened, the canopy is big enough for a single person comfortably.

I haven't been able to test it in the rain yet, so am not sure how well it holds up to wind.
